The Square of Sevens by Laura Shepherd-Robinson
People like to say they seek the truth. Sometimes they even mean it. The truth is they crave the warm embrace of a lie.
The Last Fairy Witch by Jean M Roberts
A thin mist rose from the ground, shrouding the sentinels in a ghostly veil.
Both sound good

They are.
Jean M Roberts is excellent at slowly building an atmosphere of threat.
The Square of Sevens is well over 500 pages but doesn’t feel it. It’s one of the most engrossing books I’ve read in ages.

I wish people could say the same about my books. LOL

There are probably plenty of people out there who think it but they would never dream of writing something on Amazon or GoodReads. But they will tell other people face to face – and word of mouth is the best.
Though when they do say something nice, it really makes may day.
